The exhibition will present to the visitors the period when Europeans began to uncover the unknown world. There will be introduced the outcomes from these overseas explorations for Europe as well as local territories, including the unique artistic artefacts, maps, globes and documents but also the key players such as seafarers, conquerors, researchers, missionaries, slaves and pirates of that period. - Náprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures

The exhibition presents major works by artists from these countries. Close cultural cooperation had a fundamental impact on the art of this region, including Bohemia.
